Dr. Portnoy had been in private practice in the heart of New York City since 1993. Following the pandemic, he relocated to South Miami with his family to begin anew and share his medical expertise with the greater Miami community.  He is a graduate of Brandeis University and The George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and performed a fellowship in Head and Neck/Reconstructive Surgery in Pittsburgh, PA.

Dr. Portnoy is double Board Certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
