Sean M. McWilliams, MD graduated in 1999 from Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. McWilliams completed post-graduate residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB) in 2004. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. McWilliams has been caring for patients in the Destin area since 2004.

Dr. McWilliams has a special interest in minimally invasive endoscopic sinus surgery, care of allergic disorders and hearing rehabilitation. Dr. McWilliams manages a broad array of pediatric and adult ENT disorders. He uses the most advanced surgical techniques including balloon sinuplasty for treatment of sinusitis and computer aided navigation during surgery. Dr. McWilliams performs in-office procedures for VivAver®, RhinAer®, Propel® Implants as well as in-office Balloon Sinuplasty.

In 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022, Dr. McWilliams was recognized by Professional Research Consultants (PRC) as a "Five Star" healthcare provider who scored in the top 10% nationally on patient surveys where patients were asked to rate the care they received. He was ranked in the 99th percentile when compared to other physicians nationwide who were rated through the PRC patient survey in 2018. Awards are based on how often patients gave their physician or provider a rating of excellent on the PRC survey question. PRC is a national healthcare marketing research firm that works directly with more than 2,000 hospitals and healthcare organizations. Dr. McWilliams was also recognized as a Top 5 Specialty Care Provider for 2021 and 2022.

Outside the office, he enjoys saltwater fishing, reading, college athletics, and traveling with his family.
