Alinda is a Board Certified advanced registered nurse practitioner. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree and her Post Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from Florida Atlantic University.
She is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
She is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Council of Palm Beach County and the Society of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Nurses. She became a member of Alpha Lambda Delta as an undergraduate at Georgia State and while attending Florida Atlantic University she was inducted into the Nightingale Society, Sigma Theta Tau (International Nursing Honor Society), and Phi Kappa Phi.
She has taught as an adjunct professor/instructor at Florida Atlantic University, Palm Beach Community College, Lynn University, Broward Community College, and Barry University. Her experience as a registered nurse includes many facets of public health, hospital care, and teaching. As a nurse practitioner she has experience in Family Practice, Asthma, Allergy and Otolaryngology. She is especially interested in allergies and their impact on ear, nose, throat, and sinus problems.
