Dr. McElhaney received her Doctorate degree in Audiology from The A.T Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2008. She was awarded her Masters of Arts degree in audiology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1986. She completed her undergraduate coursework in Communication Disorders at The Pennsylvania State University in 1982.
She has experience in a variety of clinical settings such as a neuro-otology practice, hospital based hearing and balance center, Veterans Administration Hospital and private practice with a primary focus on pediatrics.
Dr. McElhaney is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is Board Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
She is a clinical supervisor for both third and fourth year students in the Doctor of Audiology Program.
