Dr. Montgomery-Earl received her Doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona Health Science Center of AT Still University of Health Sciences in 2006. She received a Master’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Arizona in 1991. She received certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner from the University of Arizona in 1976. She completed her undergraduate coursework in Nursing at the University of Arizona in 1974.
In addition to being a Doctor of Audiology, she is a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida and she has a Certificate of Clinical Competence in the areas of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. She has been practicing Audiology for sixteen years.
Dr. Montgomery-Earl was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, Beta Mu chapter, the National Nurses Honor Society in 1974. She was the recipient of the University of Arizona Regents Scholarship in 1989, 1990 and 1991. She was the recipient of the Jean R. Guloien Outstanding Master’s Student Award for Audiology from the University of Arizona, Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences in 1992. She was named “Volunteer of the Year for 1992” by the Southern Arizona Volunteer Center, and “Time for Tucson” by the Business Volunteer Council. She was the recipient of the President’s Award of the Arizona Speech-Language-Hearing Association, presented at the 1995 Arizona State Convention.
Dr. Montgomery-Earl has experience in a variety of settings, including ENT practice, VA, the public school district, hospital and medical centers.
Dr. Montgomery-Earl is now a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Florida Academy of Audiology, and she is Board Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is also certified in Neuromonics tinnitus management.
