Claar, AuD

Dr. Claar received her Doctorate in Audiology from Nova Southeastern University in 2007, where she graduated with Honors. She completed her undergraduate coursework in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the Pennsylvania State University in
2003.

She completed her fourth year Doctoral Clinical Externship with Doctors’ Hearing and Balance Centers of Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of South Florida. She accepted the invitation to become part of the clinical diagnostic team at Doctors’ Hearing and Balance Centers of Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of South Florida at the completion of her fourth year Externship.

As a student, Dr. Claar was a member of the National Association of Future Doctors of Audiology.

Dr. Claar is certified with Neuromonics tinnitus management, and she was involved in developing the Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Center at Doctors’ Hearing and Balance Centers of Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of South Florida.

Dr. Claar is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Florida Academy of Audiology, and she is a member of the American Tinnitus Association.

Dr. Claar is also a Clinical Supervisor for numerous universities for both third and fourth year students in the Doctor of Audiology Program.
